Morellato Group and Franco Pianegonda announce an important partnership

Europe’s leading all-Italian capital jewellery and watch group and the
prestigious jewellery maker have sealed an agreement for producing and distbrituing the new PIANEGONDA joy collections.

Milan, 2 April 2013 – Massimo Carraro, CEO and Chairman of the Morellato Group, and Franco Pianegonda, helmsman of the Franco Pianegonda maison, have reached an agreement for the production and distribution of the collections created by Franco Pianegonda featuring the PIANEGONDA joy logo, with effect from the autumn-winter 2013-14 season.

“This partnership represents an important and significant milestone: at a delicate time like now, with prestigious Italian jewellery brands heading abroad, we continue to believe in Italy, in Italian brands, in the work and culture of Italians. We are passionate, optimistic and proud to be increasingly the global reference point for Itlaian jewellery and watches”, states Massimo Carraro, CEO and Chairman of the Morellato Group. With this new partnership, the group confirms its role as a force that unites the brands that have made Italian jewellery and watchmaking history, such as Philip Watch and Sector No Limits.

Franco Pianegonda’s maison will, on the other hand, be focusing on develoiping the Franco Pianegonda brand, which stands out for its “haute couture” pieces.
